The radiology practice MainRadiologie has five facilities in Lower Franconia, in Bavaria, Germany. The facility in Kitzingen features a new Luminous SkyCeiling (180 x 180cm) in their enclosed, windowless CT suite.

Luminous SkyCeilings deepen biophilic engagement, triggering an automatic 'relaxation response' that allows patients to relax and feel comfortable during medical treatments. The biophilic illusion of 'open space' restores our psycho physiological wellbeing in a natural, effortless way.

Dr. Ralph Gelardi, Diagnostic Radiology Specialist, is very happy with the addition of this biophilic design element in the ceiling. "Our patients enjoy the pleasant atmosphere as well as the stress-reducing effects of nature", says Dr. Gelardi.
